Dobesh Spice and Seasoning is a second-generation family-owned and veteran-led business rooted in the heart of Texas. Our founder, Larry Dobesh, grew up in East Bernard, just outside of Houston, and developed a passion for hunting and BBQ cook-offs. During the 1970s and 1980s, while working as a butcher on North Shepard in Houston, Larry began crafting his now-renowned blend of seasonings and smoked sausages.

In the 90s through the mid-2000s, Larry continued his flavorful journey alongside his cousin Charles at B&D Meat Co., where their combined expertise further refined and expanded the Dobesh Spice and Seasoning product line.​

Today, dozens of local smokehouses and restaurants rely on our exceptional sausage and meat seasonings to elevate their culinary creations. We are thrilled to now share our family's legacy of flavor with home cooks and food enthusiasts everywhere.
